Not even waterproof as advertised. This will help keep my new welder's color from fading in the sun, but it won't repel water even in the slightest. I even tried pouring in an entire bottle of water repellent and it didn't work. 2 stars for that. 5 stars for the material strength. 1 star for a terribly overpriced piece of canvas

This is a nice welder's case but like many other reviewers it's not water resistant. This is a red fire blanket cut for Lincoln welders. If your welder just sits in the garage, this is a great hiding place. If your welder is installed in the back of your truck and you want to keep it dry when not in use, look elsewhere.
