I gave 4 stars for a reason. I'll start this off by saying that I use this to glue my gauze and book spine canvas. The reason for the 4 stars is that it remains sticky even after 24 hours. It doesn't mean it will rub off, it just doesn't look like any other glue I've used on other things, get ModPodge PVA which dries in an hour or less and doesn't feel sticky. I have never bound books or used this glue. After reading the reviews and questions, I decided to try this glue. I am very happy with it. I take off the old covers and restore them. I quickly learned that this glue sets and dries quickly, so work fast.
