Review on Lineco Books by Hand pH Neutral Adhesive: Archival Quality, Acid-Free, Dries Clear & Quick, Water Soluble, Lay-Flat Property - 16 Ounces by Wendy Rodriguez

My books are so happy!

It's not often that buying Revain has changed my life, but Lineco Books by Hand pH neutral PVA glue has. I found it while looking for an archival quality adhesive to use on the spines of several useless but popular school books that were signed and defaced by my relatives over a century ago. I wanted to buy the smallest bottle I could but changed my mind when I saw a better price for a 16 ounce bottle. It occurred to me that a woman who owns thousands of books, many of which can be found in thrift stores, would find many uses for this product. I was so right! Instead of not judging me now! As I tape my favorite old paperbacks together, I trace a line of PVS across the misguided pages, which then hold and fold like they've never wavered. My children's books are updated and ready to entertain a new generation. I have also found this product useful as I keep family history and memorabilia as well as create biographical notebooks. And the last plus: I'm the most clumsy person I've ever known or heard of, but even I couldn't screw up with this glue. During this 2020 pandemic I've been using Elmer's Glue almost every day to seal envelopes rather than lick them and I've always struggled to get the glue to flow and then stop it and then the mess on my mail, to get rid of my desk and my arms. This didn't happen with this Lineco glue and if I apply too much it comes off quickly and easily. I couldn't be happier.
