They are very durable. I know because I pulled on the fabric to get it between the mattress and the springs. In the past I have pulled skirts from other companies but not this one. The only problem is that there are slits in the corners that allow the pen box to be seen through, but I plan to fix this by hand sewing.

I needed a new skirt for my queen bed. I researched and after measuring what I needed I settled on this one. I was concerned about the quality as it was very reasonable but ended up buying it. It arrived with some creases but after putting it in the dryer for a few minutes it fixed the hat. I had this on my bed for 1 hour and it was amazing. It far exceeded my expectations!

This black Linenspa bed bumper is made from very thin cheap polyester microfiber but at $12 it's a great deal for a child's bedroom. 14" King will NOT fit 14" box springs. If you want a king, order a larger size and remove the sag in the middle of the bed. I have managed to get the skirt to evenly touch the floor on both sides. About 2-3" on one side to the floor. I would return it but my mattress arrives tomorrow and I'm having a hard time getting up to put my new skirt on. I had to throw this away because it didn't stay in place when I tried to put the mattress back on the spring. The material is very smooth and will slide when the mattress is placed on the spring. You will need at least two other people to make this skirt work - two people to lower the box spring mattress from the top and one person to make sure the bed skirt stays in place.
