I've tried all types of palm rests and while they support my wrist, they take my arm, elbow, or shoulder out of line, causing me to hold my hand at an odd angle. or my hand slips left or right and my elbow or shoulder starts to hurt. Got this for my partner after carpal tunnel surgery. It's nice and comfortable, with a notch cut out where the CTR cut is. It has non-slip feet, but they are useless due to the slight bend in the bottom. It rests on the outer edges of the base rather than being flat and parallel to the table surface. Turns out my friend liked it more than when it was non-slip and stationary. If the base had stayed in place, he would have had to raise his arm more often and bend his wrist from side to side more.
