EASY TO INSTALL: drill a hole of a diameter 2.4"-2.5" with a hole saw, remove the ring and slide the body from top, then screw the ring tight from bottom. Waterproof, liquid resistant. I wouldn't say proof

It's much bigger than the pictures. He fit in the space I gave him. But it's not fast charging. We agreed to keep it because we installed a remote control department in the sofa.

Sits almost flush with the surface

Cut a hole in the granite countertop. Easy to install and plug into your existing outlet. It's great that I didn't have to spend dollars on rewiring because of the new cabinets. The block sits almost flush (exactly) on the granite, so it's not an eyesore. Good product.

Cheap materials/poor product development

Looked good at first but then the stainless steel cap broke and what appeared to be hot glue leaked out. I bought the expensive one because it looked better but now after 1.5 months it looks crappy and broken. Annoying that this happened right after my returns window closed.

Very elegant in accessories and consumables

I tried several sockets with seals and decided to keep them. The lid keeps a toddler's prying fingers out when not in use and I love that the lid is completely out of the way when opening and doesn't get in the way of the plug. I wish it was Black Metal but that's just personal preference. The finish is very smooth and looks like it should be part of my desk.

Bought 2, one broke just before the return deadline. The seller and the manufacturer will not help.

Bought 2 of these to build into a console table. Was very happy at first, but after less than 2 months of use, one of the USB ports died. I was right outside the seller returns window and Revain tried to contact the manufacturer as they require a 1 year guarantee - they couldn't and gave me a phone number and I haven't been able to find anyone since.
