Good product. The voltage is easy to read. Installed in the top compartment of my van to power the DVR and avoid long cables to the cigarette lighter. This device has two USB ports that step down the voltage from 12.8 to 5.2. Easy installation, I completed the full installation in 30 minutes. I will buy a second one for my GPS navigation system.

My batteries were dead and then I found out my alternator wasn't charging my new batteries because my 250 Ford F250 wasn't providing that information. This gadget shows me the status of my battery. I don't drive a lot of trucks in the winter and I don't want the LEDs to drain my batteries. I have the same on my boat and it was draining the batteries. I installed a switch so I can turn it off when I park for a long time. I didn't rate the accuracy because I didn't measure it. It seems correct.

Using my Craftsman voltmeter I have confirmed that the accuracy of this device is around 10% which is pretty good. I installed the device on my Kawasaki Versys 08 as I don't have a voltmeter and this left me at a loss. The device comes with 0 installation instructions including the size of the hole or wire you need. By the way, it's 1 inch and 10 AWG. I'm surprised by the reviews how bright it is. It's on my bike and I can't read the display during the day, even in the shade, even with my hand over it. The window in the lid is nice, but it's tinted and you can't see through it in any brightness. Readable in the garage, not too bright but sufficient.
