Easier than I expected! Works perfectly.

Wow. That's great. I'm changing jobs and switching to the home office and need to install an Ethernet socket between two rooms. All finished models are category 6 and we can't do that, we need category 8. So I installed a category 6 socket and made sure everything works (I had category 8 cable plugged in, but of course it looks like a cable category 6 if you have category 6 plugs). And then I bought them along with a short Category 8 cable to switch between cables (that had been stripped etc.).

Certified parts matter and Linkup is certified, there are too many cheap fakes out there.

It has been at least 20 years since I made my last ethernet cable and I have to say the new CAT8 design made it very easy and my first cable with all Linkup connections (male and Keystone) and a cable that was simple and worked the first time. A quick note: There are three (3) videos on YouTube on how to terminate these connectors and I suggest watching them before you do. Once you've made a few of these you'll see how easy it is. The quality is top notch too, seems like it will last forever…

Works perfectly! suitable for cables and connections

I have a degree in mechanical and electrical engineering, although I have never created my own cable network before. I felt ready to start the new CAT-8 network lines from scratch. LinkUp has good instructions with a video available on Youtube and the terminal block inside the connector is color coded making it pretty easy. Best Connectors I've Ever Used

I've probably made over 100 cords for home projects in the last 10 years and this is it the reason that my cable routes should be as accurate as possible for aesthetic reasons. These are the easiest end connectors I have ever used on a LONG leg. They also need pliers, but they can be closed with a firm surface for hand pressing.
