Great Product for Household Items

That's a good thing. Delivery was quick and the bottle was undamaged. I have used this material alone and in a custom ointment I make. I would highly recommend it to any seeker.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Updates

Better Than Boiled - House Cleaning

Just finished a tomahawk handle that I use to hunt badgers and wolverines (and spill the blood of my enemies). So I left it in the sun and did 4 uses a week. Good.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Working speed

If you're here because you play the guitar.

I put it on a rosewood fingerboard about 2.5 weeks ago. It definitely darkened it and made the grain more visible. The smell isn't great though and took a long time to wear off. It's not a bad smell, just a strange smell. Something like earthworms.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Almost OK

Sending in a paper bag is no good.

Received my raw linseed oil today, the lid was broken but the seal was intact so it didn't leak, I hope they pack it better than a paper bag like the one I bought, but I'm lucky my empty 70% alcohol cap fits just right so I'm happy again. (I used this before it's a woodworking grate.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • old

Great product at a great price

I bought this to use with my old wooden longbow. It's a mix of cherry and ash. Linseed oil brought him back to life. Looks great, no stickiness or oiliness. I gave him a generous coat and then left him in my hot Florida garage for the day. I would recommend it to anyone who needs to restore something of this nature.

Pros
  • HANDMADE POLISHING OIL - Woodworking favorite of artisans; safe for furniture, floors and even your favorite boards
Cons
  • not reliable

excellent material for wood care products, waxes and oils

rejuvenates dry wood, giving a lasting dark brown color and a good smell and disappears quickly. I finished some wooden antiques with this a few months ago and they still look great and don't seem to need any further treatment so I'd say it's a great item. Wear gloves when using it if you don't want your hands to smell like flaxseed oil for the rest of the day.

Pros
  • SAFEGUARD UNTREATED WOOD - Finish Oil nourishes wood from damage from daily use and weathering
Cons
  • Minorities

Works as intended. Poor placement of stickers

I bought a wooden iPhone case that arrived unpolished, sanded and unfinished. After sanding and applying linseed oil, it became smooth and shiny. I will say that the manufacturer sticks a sticker that is almost impossible to tear off, just above the instructions and warning label on the back. I had no idea that linseed oil on fabric can spontaneously ignite when dry. Things that you need to be able to read for safety reasons should not be stuck on it.

Pros
  • FLAX PRODUCTION - Linseed oil is derived from flaxseed, also known as linseed oil, a harmless woodworking oil
Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen
