This is not a terrible yarn! Simple fingering (IMHO) and fits like that. I have made several pairs of socks out of these and they are great socks and get a lot softer with washing. The yarn has held up well and I expect my socks will last for years. I bought this skein to use in a shawl with another yarn of the same weight. So far, so good! I do not recommend this for beginner knitters due to the light weight of the fingers. I find it more difficult to work with than heavy finger yarn…

Socks seem to be wearing well

I bought this yarn especially to make socks for my nephew, his favorite color is yellow. I bought the Lemon Drop color and it is colored very nicely. This is a variegated yarn but on my US 2 gauge they are knit as stripes with randomly wide stripes. I knit a sock with 48 stitches in a 3x1 rib. The first sock was knitted in 2 days of inconsistent work and I really enjoyed the knitting. The yarn doesn't feel very soft, but it's not coarse and the sock looks like it will last a long time. Doesn't wear well compared to other comparable brands.

While I love working with this yarn and am happy to get 100g for 2 socks, I hope this way I have fewer problems with matching. My problem with this sock yarn. perceived care after wearing socks with shoes and during the day without shoes. This wear and tear was noticeable from the first wear and wash and became even more noticeable. Socks look frayed, I've only worn them about 5 times so I won't be buying this brand again as I've had great results with Kroy which has held up my wear with and…
