Review on Lion Brand Yarn 240 201W Sock Ease by Karla Richter

I bought this yarn especially to make socks for my nephew, his favorite color is yellow. I bought the Lemon Drop color and it is colored very nicely. This is a variegated yarn but on my US 2 gauge they are knit as stripes with randomly wide stripes. I knit a sock with 48 stitches in a 3x1 rib. The first sock was knitted in 2 days of inconsistent work and I really enjoyed the knitting. The yarn doesn't feel very soft, but it's not coarse and the sock looks like it will last a long time. I also appreciate that the yarn can be washed and dried when going to my sister's house instead of staying with me. I will buy more colors of this yarn when I need more sock yarn.
