Hot Red bright red without too much orange. The color itself is a little flashy, but not unattractive. Next to other colors, it will be much more beautiful. Red Heart yarn is good value but not as soft as some other brands like Vanna's Choice yarn. I still love this yarn but having worked with the softer Vanna's Choice yarn on other projects I find it a little clumsy.
