super scratchy. I have tried most of the Super Spar line so far. I hated crocheting it because it had just been soaked in water, vinegar and hair conditioner to soften it. Now I'm waiting for it to dry and hope it works. The color is also much darker than it appears in the photo. It won't work for the project I intended it for, so I'll find something else related to it. I really wish Red Heart offered the same quality in this line. It's such a great price, but you never know what you're going to get from one color to the next. Some are gorgeous (white), some are soft and pretty but don't chip well (Icelandic), and there's rough sandpaper like lavender. The thickness and fineness of the strands is everywhere too. They should all be in Category 4, but that's not exactly the case when one color appears to be twice as thick as another. I guess I just don't understand the fiber making process. Shouldn't it be the same yarn, just dyed different colors?
