Lipper International 8856 Bamboo Banana Review

I'm tired of always putting bananas in the basket and wanted something more attractive. This very well made bamboo banana rack not only serves a very useful purpose but also looks very attractive on the countertop in our kitchen.

Excellent quality and durability, especially for the price. I can hang a bunch of 5-6 big bananas and it won't make the hanger unstable or anything like that. I've heard that hanging bananas this way extends their life, and it's true! My banana lasts a week longer and looks and tastes great!

We received it in parts and after assembling it is not strong at all. It's fairly flimsy and shouldn't be moved around too much unless you plan on collecting it over and over again. However my husband liked it so much he wanted to keep it and didn't bother to return it and since he was the one who wanted it I relented and kept it to myself. Although the overall look is pleasant enough, the quality leaves a lot to be desired.

This banana holder has become a good addition to my kitchen. I have an issue with bananas spoiling in just 2-3 days (don't know if it's due to temperature or airflow or whatever), but hanging was an improvement. Some reviews questioned the quality of this product but I had no issues. It looks nice, is durable and lasts well for the 6-8 months I use. Anything to save my bananas for a few more days!

I was surprised that choosing a banana rack could be so problematic. Many reviews of other hangers have talked about rollover, hook size, etc. This hanger seems to have the best reviews. We've used it a few times with multiple bananas on it - up to 7 in a bunch. No rollover problems. It's pretty and doesn't take up too much space. My only concern is that one of the screws has been removed from the bottom so it doesn't stay inside. However - 1.) This is an easy fix - I'll just find a bigger…
