Description of ๐Ÿ”Œ Lippert Components 813748 Power Stance Tongue Jack with Optional 2-Way to 7-Way Powering Solution for RVs

powerful solution โ€” equipped with 2-way to 7-way powering system, so campers can use the power swap auxiliary cord to connect their jack to their tow vehicle, instead of draining power from their rv or manually cranking to lift and lower their rv. and when youโ€™re done, store your cord in your jackโ€™s built-in storage inlet to keep it safe from damage. innovative versatility โ€” every jack comes with an integrated safety chain storage ring โ€” allowing you to clip your chains out of your way instead of dragging them or wrapping them around your jack. stylishly durable โ€” this jack comes with a sleek, durable plastic head-cover to keep it protected from the elements. the coverโ€™s one-piece design is aesthetically pleasing and helps keep water from infiltrating the jackโ€™s motor and gears. user-friendly operation โ€” built-in led lights shine directly down on your trailer coupler โ€” making it easy to see and operate your power stance jack at night. plus, these lights are designed to illuminate for 5 minutes, then turn off if not in use. thoughtful engineering โ€” in the event of a power failure, this jack is equipped with an emergency manual crank option so you never have to worry about being stranded.

That does not work. See RV Parts & Accessories

We've tried everything. It's grounded, we even bought an auxiliary cable to see if it works that way. NO. Asked an expert to check it for us, says it's not working. Now I want to exchange it and make sure its return period has passed. Indeed? We weren't ready to install it right away and now we can't return it?

Pros
  • Easy to Use - Built-in LED lights illuminate the hitch, making the Power Stance jack easy to see and operate at night. Also, these lights are designed to light up for 5 minutes and then turn off when not in use.
Cons
  • packaging is ugly

Quiet operation, easy installation, can't open the tailgate.

Bought on a Prime Day at 40% off I believe. It was on my short list of replacement jacks for my 24ft RV so it made my decision easier. Installation is as easy as you might think. 3 screws and power cable. My original Jack died on me and was quite old, tag missing, unfortunately I can't tell you for comparison. Lippert is a bit slower but MUCH quieter. My two complaints; First, the leg attachment hole runs front to back, and the Fastway's folding leg (the red part in the picture) attaches sideโ€ฆ

Pros
  • SMART DESIGN - In the event of a power failure, this jack is equipped with an emergency hand wheel, so you don't have to worry about being stranded.
Cons
  • Contemporary

Good Jack, But Not Perfect

Update: I was able to rotate the jack 180 degrees so the tailgate was out of the way and the jack works fine. Happy about it! 2 small disappointments; You can no longer use a hard propane cap because the jack will interfere with it, so you must use a soft cap. Secondly, the light from the socket no longer shines where it should, but it should still be reasonably decent in the dark. Two small problems in the big picture! Basically satisfied. So far I've only used it at home, so I'll update thisโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Powerful Solution - Features a 2-to-7 power system so campers can use the switchable accessory cord to connect their jack to the towing vehicle rather than defueling their RV or manually lifting and lowering the RV have to . And when you're done, stow the cord in your jack's built-in storage compartment to protect it from damage.
Cons
  • Some issues
