Requires 2 people to install to avoid scratching paintwork. Measure seven times, drill once. Take your time. I have been using this system for many years and it has worked great. I even drive on bumpy, rocky dual carriageways hunting and have never had a problem.

I am ordering this kit for my 96 f250. It was recommended to order bumper brackets, which I did. The kit already comes with bumper brackets, which isn't a big deal. Swivel buckles were not included. I called Amazon and they sent another set. This kit was for a 2007 Chevrolet. Still no blinkers. I ended up with two sets of bumper stays and no steering cams. would not order

Please note that this camper mount CANNOT be frame mounted as stated in the description. It is simply screwed to the sheet metal cross member of the loading area. It won't be as strong as if it were bolted directly to the car's frame. While this unit will probably do for my camper, I shouldn't have to shell out the extra money for a frame-mounted mount when it clearly won't.

I don't know what the other reviewer did when installing his but mine was attached via a cross bar to the frame bracket where the bed attaches to the frame rail . If you feel compelled you can try running the drill right through the frame box, but it will be difficult to insert a nut there. My location was on a Dodge Ram 2500, it was perfect and light weight and the frame WAS installed. All in all I found it to be a well thought out product. Some of the screws are over tightened, but I'm picky.
