I have a Mercedes om603 engine that had severe nozzle clogging in cold weather and was always very smokey unless I was driving on the Autobahn. After using 3 canisters fed into the fuel system through a bottle of Gatoraid and replacing the large filter, the engine runs very smooth and quiet, no more sticking or smoking starts. If you buy this substance, put it directly into the fuel system, not just into the tank.
