Accurate temperature readings for industrial use

This thermometer provides a precise temperature reading, making it incredibly useful for industrial and scientific applications. The low-range capabilities make it versatile for a range of materials while the liquid display is easy to read. The only downside is that it requires careful handling due to its delicate nature. Overall, a reliable thermometer for any lab or industrial setting.

Pros
  • Accurate temperature reading
Cons
  • Requires immersion in the liquid to obtain temperature reading

Great for coral reef aquariums

I use this to test the accuracy of my simple digital thermometers for my reef aquarium. The scale is ideal for this. When I add some room temperature water to 80 degree reef water, I see the liquid move rapidly and stabilize in the thermometer within seconds. It comes in a plastic tube which can be used for storage as the glass is thin and fragile.

Pros
  • Thermometer
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Very sloppy production.

The top of the thermometer has a side glass tail that prevents the thermometer from fitting into the armored thermometer case purchased for this purpose. I've been working in the lab for 40 years and in all that time I've never come across anything like this. The tops of thermometers are always smooth and rounded. The first thermometer I ordered arrived broken as it was sent in a padded envelope rather than a hard box and also had a glass tail. The blue alcohol is so pale that it is very…
