The red light indicates positive polarity, green indicates negative polarity. Long, 12ft coil cord and heavy-duty alligator clamp for secure connections. Great tool and gear tool

Great product works the same as my latch, in fact it works better. My locking tool broke and they charged me for a replacement because it was just over a year old so I bought this one and I love it.

not made in USA under Tools & Equipment

Lisle proudly claims to be based in Iowa and manufacture tools made in the USA. The packaging clearly says "Made in China". I will be returning this tool as we have had enough problems with imports and the lack of US manufacturing support for our country.

For example, a high-impedance test lamp and a digital multimeter in one device.

Excellent quality as expected from Lisle. The red and green indicators along with a voltage meter prevent you from fiddling with a test lamp and DMM at the same time. Especially in tight spaces like under the dashboard and in the trunk. It's a little hard to see in direct sunlight, but that shouldn't come as a surprise.
