Quickly removes and installs fan clutch when repairing the water pump or fan clutch. Faster and easier than conventional fan clutch wrenches. No holding wrench is necessary. Set includes 7 driving wrenches that fit Ford, GM, Chrysler & Jeep. Set now includes 7/8", 32mm, 36mm, 40mm thin and new 47mm size to fit Ford 6. 0L and 6. 4L Power stroke diesel pickup. 1-7/8"and 2" are still included in the set. 1-1/2" 41mm and 42mm are still available individually. Use with an air hammer. Includes blow molded storage case.

Get this keep your sanity

Wow this thing looked like Thor's hammer heaven sent to save my sanity. I have attempted to remove the fan clutch, fan and such to replace the water pump in my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.7 without this wrench. Big mistake. I've spent many hours, injured many joints and fingers, and watched many instructional videos to no avail; No matter what I tried, I couldn't unscrew the fan clutch and nut. Not at all what is advertised in the pictures or description. Lyle used to be famous for good quality. I have several of these products but am completely disappointed with this fan clutch tool. Poorly made in China, a rough cut piece of steel and no longer has 3 pins on a side. I originally ordered this from Revain as a used tool (no box). But when it arrived I thought they must have sent me the wrong item. It didn't have the # part on it, not even Lyle's name. Sent the first one back and…

More beautiful than I thought.

The keys are very strong and definitely "NO" thin cheap scrap. I've been using my blunt-tipped air hammer to remove and install fans for quite some time. This tool doesn't leave marks on the fan nut like the ones I get with an air hammer. The use of this tool is much more professional and gentle on the water pump bearing. Don't be afraid to buy the Lisle 43300, it's well designed and well made. The only downside I see is that if you need to order additional keys, which are available but not…

The only tool that could get the job done.

My diesel 7.3 has not reached temperature. After poking around a bit, I found that the fan clutch was stuck. It should rotate between 25% and 80% of the water pump speed. When it got stuck it was spinning 100% of the time at 100% water pump speed. time for a new one. I've tried every method in the book to break the fan clutch. I used ratchet straps, tape, adjustable wrenches, and so on. I even rented a tool from a parts store. I bought it not because it worked but because I broke it. This fan…
