I bought a plane at the dentist and fell in love with the new thread. Doesn't cut your fingers when using, tastes great, improved product in every way.

I love the elasticity and slightly sticky texture of this thread. It's thin enough to fit between clenched teeth, and the sticky texture traps food particles between large gaps. I want this material to be used to make dental floss.

Disappointed with this thread. Unfortunately, the woven thread for weapon maintenance was discontinued, so I chose it as a replacement. It is too thin and therefore easily cuts the gums. It doesn't seem to have enough texture to be effective on the tooth surface near the gum line. My endodontist recommended Gum Care woven floss because it works well on the tooth surface near the gum line. There is no alternative. I have to keep looking. Won't buy this again.

I think this next generation floss is a lot better than its predecessor from decades ago. It is thinner, stronger and made from a thin monofilament, unlike the older variety of braided floss which often gets caught between teeth and/or breaks constantly. As a result, I used half the usual amount of the old style. In fact, in the 1 month since I received a packet to try and use twice a day, I've only broken a piece once. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
