My son likes it. He likes crazy noises, talks to him and beats everyone. I think it's too loud and the button to repeat what you say is a little finicky to get to work which frustrates him. Good for 5-10 minutes and then he does something else but plays every other day. he's 4. He's bigger than I expected and quite durable. We've only had it for a month so I don't know how long it will be but he should have had it!

I have to give it a 5 because my 5 year old son loves it so much. If my son didn't like it I would have given him an A because it's so annoying! My son likes to record him saying something unexpected or even belching and then playing the recording back for everyone. The small creature's mouth moves slightly, making the creature appear to speak. While this toy can be quite annoying, it's worth seeing how happily he plays with his new "pet/friend". Parents, you have been warned. Ha!

Surprise find for my 5 year old who just turned 5 loves and takes him everywhere! Looks cool, I think my nephew will like it, but the record/playback function is 100% USELESS. I've tried 2 now (one from Revain, one from Walmart) and none of them rendered my voice correctly; they both just repeated the first second or two of the sounds. I tried probably 100 times and only repeated the whole sentence 5 or 6 times. My 5 year old son was so happy with this toy! I personally hate snakes but my son loves these. He likes the sliding sounds and the fact that it's a bracelet to wear on his wrist. The best thing for him is the ability to record and reproduce what he says. He found this feature very entertaining and uses it non-stop.
