Very well designed adorable bag. I'm so glad I got this for my son. I bought this to replace the Steven Joseph bag he originally had and it's a lot better. The quality is comparable to a skipping rope bag, but even better because it's a bit taller and can hold a school binder without teachers having to fold it. I love this bag! Really cute and very good quality. We ordered a smaller one at first, but our preschooler got a massive 3-inch, three-ring binder to carry back and forth every day. Although this folder can't be fully compressed with a folder in it, it works and he loves it. His only criticism was that the tail fin moved the wrong way for a shark. This is a Christmas present for my 5 year old nephew. I was surprised, relieved and very happy with the quality of the backpack. After much internet browsing and a few unsuccessful purchases from the store, I bought this one not paying attention to the details already mentioned. Luckily those details were very nice touches, like a large zippered interior pocket, padded shoulder straps and back panel, a secure chest clip, large mesh pockets on BOTH sides, and a name tag sewn onto the back panel.
