Better Than Kaytee Best in Houses & Habitats

Our local pet store was running out of pine and aspen sawdust and I was desperate for something for our chinchilla since he was running out of garbage. I found this online and as I don't normally buy pine as I feel like it doesn't mask the smell I bought it on luck. It's a lot cheaper than the Kaytee brand at your local pet store, bigger and much better quality. I was pleasantly surprised by this product and will buy it again.

Generally satisfied. It has a neutral odor (no smell) and the quality of the wood chips is good, just a bit rough but my rabbits are used to it so usually not a problem but this time it had large pieces of wood which luckily weren't very sharp, but i think they might be sharp and hurt small animals. While it's good value for money and really heavy compared to other brands at the same price, I'm not sure I would order again.

Pretty dusty and sometimes there can be dangerous large pieces in it. But I've been using it for about a year now for my Gerbil collection of mixed paper bedding and cardboard, which she likes to shred, and I've had no other issues. When I drop the bag in her tank, I poke around in it a few times to make sure I can grab it if something stings me or is too hard. That's a good price for this lot. I use an entire bag for a 55 gallon tank, usually with the same size paper wash or smaller. She makes

My giant poop doesn't smell

We used this in our composting toilet at our tiny house. Yes, this is an unconventional use of pet litter, but sometimes you need to pick up your own poop, not just your pet's. The way it works is that you put some shavings in a bucket, do your thing, and then cover it with more shavings. In theory, if you do it right (and separate the solids from the liquids), you won't be able to smell it, and it will eventually become compost that you can use to grow your food! (This is the simplest…

Recommend! Reduces Cage Odor Compared to Other Oven Dried Pine Litter!

Greetings! No cage smell compared to a huge $7 bag of another brand's shavings. Someone said softwood shavings make cells smell better. But it doesn't feel like soft wood. This is ordinary pine linen, kiln dried and safer. I use puppy pads, then a thin layer of that and then a thin layer of Carefresh paper bedding. Then add KayTee plush bedding to your home. I threw out all the wool with the cage cleaning. Unlock $1,000 in runes over time. Shit, but my time and washer/dryer are more valuable! I

Two bags of wasp shavings from PIG, not a guinea pig

I usually order these two bags at the same time and this is my fifth or sixth purchase of wasp shavings from Livingworld. Both bags contain awfully BIG chips of varying thickness, length and hardness. Both bags (2500 cu.in.) are full of "junk" shavings that we needed to clean up as best we could. I don't know if their razor is broken but I will not make this purchase again. At $17 a bag, I can't afford to throw more than 50% of each bag in the trash, but I do because it's not acceptable walking

Not the softest pine bedding

I have a very picky guinea pig. I've had guinea pigs since I was little and I've never had one as noisy as I do now. Unlike any other pig I've had, this one tells me she thinks of everything from her dinner to her bed. She loves light, fluffy stone pine bed linen and the bigger and coarser the shavings are, the less she likes them. She goes and parks in the corner of her car and doesn't even answer me if she doesn't like something. If she likes her bedding, she stretches and jumps more. This…
