Description of 📻 LJJDSLYU S-Pixie HAM Transceiver Radio Shortwave Telegraph 40m Super CW QRP 7.023 MHz DIY Kit with Shell & Large Potentiometer

The transceiver worked fine on transmit and receive. The plexiglass case still had the brown paper protective layer on it. The use of horizontal resistors and horizontal diodes (upside down welding) makes the welding process not easy to short-circuit. It uses a high-end potentiometer, no manual tools are needed to adjust the beat frequency, and it can be adjusted manually. The power supply does not distinguish between positive and negative poles (Recommended battery or linear power supply), the power supply range is increased to 9~13.8V,>500mA. When you purchase the product, I will send the instructions to your mailbox. If you fail to receive it, please contact seller for it. Enjoy.Thx.

A great version of QRP Pixie

There are many pixie kits out there and I've rounded up a few of them. It's the best I've ever seen. The circuit board and components are of good quality, and the acrylic body is comfortable and attractive. You can get a pixie kit for less, sometimes just a few dollars but with long wait times and sometimes less quality and no case. Technical skills are required to assemble and operate this transceiver. If you are frustrated by Pixies, take this as a signal to improve your technical knowledge…

Neat, tiny, attractive and a blast to use.

The kit arrived quickly, all parts were neatly packed. The component connectors were pre-bent so inserting them into the holes was very convenient. After systematically confirming the values of all components, the assembly process went very smoothly. All large parts fit perfectly on the circuit board. After assembly everything worked great. However, the output power falls far short of the inflated claimed 1.8 watts. It is actually a 1/2W transceiver. The frequency is very close to the…

Pros
  • The use of horizontal resistors and horizontal diodes (reverse welding) complicates the anti-short circuit welding process.

Mixed feelings. best in radios

The kit worked very well although I don't recommend it as a project for beginners. More importantly, the S-Pixie emits a carrier when a key is pressed, and the frequency of that carrier changes depending on the potentiometer setting. The attached photos show the signal on the SDR spectrum analyzer (this can also be seen on my large Yaesu rig). When the pot is turned fully counterclockwise, the signal is at 7.0240 MHz. When the potentiometer is turned fully clockwise, the carrier of the key down
