Forget tape on tape

This product is amazing. I've often used plain black tape for temporary outdoor applications, but rain weakens the tape and wind quickly destroys adhesion. Using black LLPT aluminum foil tape solves all of these problems. Foil is easy to cut or easy to tear. It adapts perfectly to the shape and ensures an excellent connection.

Simply the best for the price, the thickness and adhesion are second to none.

This is the best black foil tape I have ever used. It's thick, consistently withstands extreme temperatures, and is versatile. Expensive compared to other cheap bands which in my case makes this a bargain as you get what you pay for, in this case you get that and more. I will recommend and buy again.

A kind of tender for a metal band.

Bad. It's a really delicate tape, even though it's a metal tape, a slight flick the wrong way and it rips and you have to cut it and start over where the rip started. Good. It sticks well as long as the surface is clean and dry. If you screw it up, it'll come loose as soon as you do, before it really hardens. Nice black color, not shiny. I saw a guy use one like this as a door sill protector so I'll give it a try. I will update later.

Doesn't stick well in cold weather

Really not what I needed. I wrapped the insulation around the water pipes with this tape last night. Well, I'll check tonight after work, and the foil's all peeled off. So much so that several areas almost fell out of the pipe. I've also used Nashua foil tape and had no problems with it. He was whole. Please note that this tape is written in such a way that it leaves no trace. It certainly won't leave a mark if it doesn't even last a day! Maybe it would work better in another application inโ€ฆ
