These are flip-flops, of course, so there's nothing to say, is there? Well it's more than you think. The straps are strong and break. I've had many in this style that just scatter around randomly, but they're firmly in place. These are well constructed shoes. A problem with many of the flip flops I've tried is that the side straps are too close to the side of your foot, so you step on that big plastic knot with every step. Not here. The size of the foot is perfect (slippers 11-12 for shoes 10.5-11), the strap is another story and a separate detail altogether - they are abbreviated shaft. Between the thumb and nearest toe, the foot is too close to what is usually a comfortable flip-flop, and pinches right between them. I hope this softens up a bit but I really think I'll just have to get used to it or find another brand which will be very disappointing. I can't imagine that during production they thought they could save…
