🔒 10-22 Lockitt Assorted POSI TAP Connectors Review

I have been using Posi-Lock and Posi-Tracks for many years. They are especially good for spots where soldering is impractical or for urgent repairs. The connection lasts as long as you need it. This can be a quick 5 minute circuit test or a permanent connection. They still work. They're expensive until you factor in the labor costs of other options (and of course how much you value your time).

Excellent product. Easy to install resulting in a tight and reliable tee. Just knock how expensive they are. But for my application (connecting to my truck's running lights) it was the perfect solution. You have absolutely no need to worry about the faucet ever coming loose, it's easy to remove (and reuse) when needed, and the faucet wire isn't prone to failure if it's pushed forward when the faucet is removed, since this particular faucet is wired.

In my automotive projects I prefer to use extra fuses or other methods than running wires. However, it's probably the most secure option I've seen if you need to connect with wires. Seems to be a more reliable/secure connection than using the typical parts store tees. Also, I prefer the needle end tap on these taps over the V-tap on T-tap taps. If you're not careful with the V-style, you can loosen the wire where you touch it or cut it at the end.

These are the best faucets I have ever used. The tap itself is minimally disruptive and does not cause much damage to the wires, if any, on the circuit being tapped. Because the coupler goes through the center, it makes a positive connection without any issues with the punctured insulation causing an open circuit.
