Yes, that is Loctite. Yes it works I would buy again

As it is green it will penetrate the thread after you put the screw in the right place. I had a few set screws that I used this on. I got a set of screws where I needed them, added Loctite and had no trouble loosening those screws. I would buy again.

A must for your tool box.

Essential for any DIY project, especially in the automotive industry. I once forgot to use threadlock on the rod head bolts on a 3.8L Jag engine and when the 290 Green broke it effectively sealed the nuts. Very efficient, very, very, very efficient. It's just as aggressive (30-40 lb/ft) as blue and often easier to use.

Works exactly as described. A very useful product.

Unlike other threadlockers, Loctite 290 "greenโ€ penetrates the assembled fasteners by capillary action. This allows you to fully assemble the workpiece without having to worry about setting the threadlocker before setting and tightening everything to the desired condition. It is thin and fluid and appears to contain more volatile organic compounds than other versions of Loctite. This is for joining metal to metal. Your fasteners should be clean and dry and free of oil and grease. I am veryโ€ฆ
