So far, so good! in Computers and Accessories

To be honest I only got this mouse yesterday but I already like it. I've had the M570 for a few months and it was my first trackball mouse. I liked the transition from a regular mouse to a trackball. The reason I bought it was because I saw all the reviews and people loved it even more than the M570. My issue with the M570 was the volume of the ball movement in the socket when I moved the mouse. Any given day I'm either working from home or the office so the mouse is always with me and it's…

Beware of Bluetooth conflicts with other devices!

Huge waste of time trying to get something to work that should be plug and play. I have used the Logitech M570 mouse on computers at home and at work for many years. I love her! So I was delighted with the updated model and bought it. i'm not happy anymore Set it to bluetooth with my new computer and it worked the same as the old M570. So I put on my Bluetooth headphones to listen to music. The music is an annoying staccato due to mouse interference. Music turned on normally with the mouse. No…

Not ergonomic for my hand and the design software I use

Really wanted this mouse to be liked - thought the trackball would be very easy to use. BUT with the design software I use I have to roll the ball while holding the left button to move elements etc which puts more strain on the arm and is not ergonomic for my hand or usage. Also found it difficult to land on something accurately - sometimes the trackball would overshoot, or I couldn't coordinate click + roller and remove the object, it was frustrating. The clicking is also louder than my magic…

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Not a bad product. Especially for the price. My only complaint is one that most people probably won't have. When working on detailed designs, I often try to get the mouse to sit on that exact pixel when I click. But since the ball is sooo light and rolls so easily (I know, yeah, who's complaining about the ball rolling smoothly?), when I click, the exact spot I had the cursor on can change a bit . I decided to trade the ball. for ball bearings 34 mm. I got one from Amazon for $9. By default…

This is a real deal for OG Logitech trackball users!

I think I've owned most Logitech trackballs for over a year, with a brief hiatus in the last few decades due to laptop and desktop touchpad use. Two years ago I bought an MX Ergo trackball. Good, but expensive and the feeling is not quite right. Mine has a sloping aluminum base but no additional rubber base, but it's still more than tall enough. I received the M575 a few days ago and loved it straight away. You need a free app called Sensible Side Buttons for the navigation buttons to work on a

It's garbage!

Edit: My original rating still stands. I'm editing it because I took my old computer and trackball with me on the trip. When I got home, I started using my new computer and trackball again. The difference between my old trackball and my new one is like night and day! This (M575) is COMPLETE GARBAGE! I'm going to reconfigure my device to use my old trackball with my new computer and use this piece of junk on my old computer. Do yourself a favor and stay away from the Logitech ERGO M575…
