Lightweight: Computer Accessories and Peripherals

You won't even notice you're wearing this headset, except when it's attached to your desk. The only thing I would change is the length of the cable from the functional area (volume and mute) to the headphones. It would be possible to use at least 6 inches in addition. But I did it with some ingenuity.

Pros
  • Great Design
Cons
  • I'm Silent

Excellent sound quality

Excellent sound quality, good comfort and generally decent build quality. An unraveled cord didn't get the message—it still tangles a bit, but not as much as a rounded cord. The end call/answer button does not work with Cisco IP Communicator, but this is documented. A good choice for reliable sound quality and user-friendly design.

Out of warranty

Microphone became static after a few months. Called Revain went through the troubleshooting but had to give Logitech a supposed 1 year warranty. Logitech wanted to do another fix - the microphone is clearly not working. He explained that we have 8 such headsets - all the others work except this one. How long does it take to troubleshoot before Logitech replaces it? Not what I expected from Logitech - disappointed.

  • Robust construction

Good, but. for audio and video accessories

The headset is generally good, but there are a few points that could be improved. First is comfort - the padding makes everything look weird and ends up hurting when I'm on the phone for hours. Second, the volume controls on the cable - they're in a strange place and it would be better if they were moved closer to the end of the cable with a plug. Right now they're long enough to not sit securely on my desk while I'm on the phone and end up falling/dangling off the desk when I move.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Light/Medium call volume

I work remotely and use it for work. I spend about 40-50% of my work time on calls and wanted one ear instead of the full headset I used before and that part works well. The first one I ordered broke after 2 days but it was easy and quick to get a replacement. The second performed much better, plus they replaced my work laptop and improved call clarity. It's not as convenient as the full set and I take it off when I'm not on a call, so I'm not sure it will work for those with high call volume…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Excellent quality - uncomfortable like BLEEP

The sound quality of this headset is really excellent, but it is a headache. The way it sits on your ear is just painful. I use this thing for hours every day - 9+ - and get a headache after about three hours. I usually take it off my ear and it sits on my head very oddly. The good news is that it still picks up noise. I'm not on the phone, so I don't need a handset. I'm dictating so I just need a mic so I can get caught. Adding a pop buffer to the mic would also be great. I took off my old…

Good USB headset but seems expensive

Overall I am very happy with this headset. I have the mono version (one speaker) so I can better hear what's going on around me when I wear it. I've used them on many multi-hour conference calls with no problems, they're very comfortable. Your ear can certainly get tired after a few hours, but the unexpected bonus of the mono version is that you can quickly flip it over and use it on the other ear without wasting a second, and significantly increases headset fatigue. The sound quality is good…
