Description of LONIN Advanced 4-Inch Ceramic Grater for Ginger, Garlic, and Onion - Enhancing SEO

4-inch small grater is dishwasher safe. Rows of sharp teeth; roots such as ginger are quickly shredded, leaving the unwanted fiber behind. For ease of use, a silicone ring underneath holds the grater in place. Non-corrosive bowl collects the gratings and flavorful juices, without altering the taste. Also great for elephant garlic, daikon radish & parmesan cheese

How did I live without her?

I like it a lot! I saw this at my mom's and was amazed at how much tastier the ginger turns out. It resembles a paste and is great for fresh ginger tea or as an addition to dishes.

Pros
  • rows of sharp teeth; Roots like ginger are quickly crushed, leaving behind unwanted fibers.
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Too small for me Grater

The work surface is too small. On this, the grid part has a diameter of 2 inches. If there was a larger version I would go for it, but my zest grater is way better for ginger.

Pros
  • Silicone ring on the bottom keeps the grater in place for easy handling
Cons
  • Doubt

Works great with graters

This grater is much smaller than I expected which was a plus in terms of "ease of use". I preferred it over the Microplane because it also collects ginger juice, but I actually think it does the job better. Haven't tried citrus peels yet but if it works for you then this is the perfect tool, easy to use, clean and store.

Pros
  • Small 4 inch grater is dishwasher safe
Cons
  • Not as thick as other graters

Ginger for tea in the kitchen and dining room

I saw a friend using this when she was visiting so bought one for herself. I only use this to make Indian style ginger tea and nothing else. The reason for this is that when you grate the ginger, almost everything gets caught in the "teeth" of the grater. If I just put water on the grater, it all comes off my teeth. So basically I grate the ginger, add water to make the ginger come out, and use that water to make tea. When I add it to a curry I have to use a fork or knife to try to get the…

Pros
  • Also great with elephant garlic, daikon radish and parmesan cheese
Cons
  • Traded in
