No brighter than camera IR

I bought this to increase the range of my CCTV camera at night (Reolink RLC-410-5MP). The camera itself allows me to recognize faces about 10 meters away. in the dark. With both the camera's IR light and the additional light of the LONNKY LED IR illuminator on, the ability to detect faces in the dark is still only about 35-40 feet. The LONNKY LED IR Illuminator may have increased the camera's visibility by 4 or 5 feet at night, but it definitely doesn't illuminate properly up to 100 feet away…

Works great and addresses my main complaint about our security cameras

I just bought a second camera. I really like these IR emitters. They are well built and a lot better looking than the usual big square IR emitters. They solve my main problem with our security camera with built in IR lights: the IR light next to the lens attracts a lot of bugs and really illuminates them. We got 20 or more motion alerts every night and they were all bugs and that was the lowest sensitivity I could get and I still got alerts for a real object moving around the garden. Now that…
