The only downside is that you can't use it as a stand. The strap was secure when I needed to carry the phone without worrying about it falling, and the kickstand works really well as a finger rest (like a pop socket). There is a pull tab that releases the strap so the phone can be charged wirelessly. This tab came loose in less than 3 months and now the loop/strap is no longer securely attached to the base. My favorite type of phone grips used to be ring grips that could be used as a stand and also with a magnet for my car install. The downside to this is that after a month or two of rolling and using it as a grip, the resistance needed to hold the ring in place to support the phone is completely lost. The benefit of this little device is that part of the stand only moves when used as a stand so I doubt it will wear out and should work for long. I carry my phone while running and I love the strap.
