The jack was poorly made. The sound came from only one speaker. If you wiggle the connector, the sound will come out of the other speaker instead. Not wanting to disassemble my dashboard again, I bought another jack to replace the one I had. Now it works fine.

Best extension cord I've found for BMW. Cables connect and work with no problems. I installed it on my dashboard with a drill, now I just have to program it and everything should work perfectly! I'll have to wait for the coding tool next week, I'll update my review once it's out :)
