preset clock. As long as it works properly. I followed the instructions and the installation was surprisingly easy. Concerns arose when I read that it should only be used with 2G and not with dual band (2G/5G) routers. My router is dual band and this device still works.

Pros
  • Timer function: no hub required, connectors compatible with most wireless routers. Screw in the lamp holder, you can turn an ordinary light bulb into a smart (smart) light bulb while keeping your style! Set a timer and countdown or create scripts, the porch lights can turn on automatically at night and turn off in the morning
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Absolute rubbish!: Light sockets

it's terrible! Yes, they are very easy to install and pair with the app, but they never worked properly once set up. I had 4 of them set to a group and using voice control or phone app it would only select 2 of them to turn on/off and it was never the same 2. It would randomly select 2 to turn on and I would have to manually walk into the app to activate the others. They also turned on randomly after I turned them off. Finally, the loud "click" noise they make when turning on/off is just…

Pros
  • App control: Download the free Smart Life app on your mobile phone, connect to Wi-Fi (2.4GHz only) and you can control your lights from anywhere with the Smart Life app. App remotely control and turn the light on/off anytime. Requires a separate 2.4GHz WiFi network. If you have dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi, split the two WiFi bands to get a separate 2.4GHz WiFi network.

Great from a technical point of view. and sometimes. Basically, you plug the adapter into the lightweight case, download the app, press the button, do a bunch of other things, and then you also have to manually add it to your Google Home. With an LED lamp, it most likely will not fit in the dome. I had to change it to a kitchen light cover that leaves the bulb exposed. After installation I noticed that my lightbulb wasn't even in the adapter and it looked like it was tilted diagonally. Within a
