Goes well with the Herman Miller Aeron chair

I bought this headrest to see if I could use it on my Herman Miller Aeron chair as a headrest made for this chair costs a little under $200. This headrest is made from the same mesh material as the Aeron so it looks like it was custom made for it. Other reviewers managed to attach it to a chair with various clips and anchors. The chair I installed it on is in my office, so I didn't think too much about modifying it a bit. I decided to just skip the clamps and took a drill to attach them…

So far, so good. I believe every chair should be included.

Works on any chair as long as you use my technique Buy 2 clips. I used these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018RLY6B2/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_9 The headrest comes with screws already. Screw the headrest into the clips. Then clip the headrest onto any chair. I have this on a WorkPro 2 and this combo works for me. So far, so good. I think every chair should come with a headrest, especially if the price is over $500. I can't believe the only other headrest clip sold is Herman Miller and it's half…

THIS PRODUCT IS GREAT! BUT NOT WITH CLAMPS!

You may have read that people buy C-clamps with this product to attach the headrest to the chair. I have an Aeron Herman Miller and ordered c-clips with this product because I didn't want the burden of rigging with tarpaulin hooks. I have the clamps and THEY ARE NOT STABLE (at least with Aeron), they move and the headrest moves back and forth when you put your head down. If you have an ergonomic chair, or at least care about your spine, you should be aware that you need to support your back on…

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Minor repairability

Great! I added this to my Herman Miller Aeron, no holes drilled! It took some thought, but it works great! Added a video with the end result. Parts to buy: 2x 3-1/2 tarp/rope hooks, 2x 1/4-20 non-swivel nylon slide pin, 2x 1/4-20 nut, 2x 1/4" - 28". Nut", 2x "wing washer 1/4". Thread the black OEM bolts through the Lorell block and bottom hole of the tarp/rope hook with washer and nut, do not over tighten. The trick is getting the solid nylon rail in place without scratching the top of the…

  • Nice finish

Get the right size clamps, no drilling required (in depth, long review)!

So I have a chair with a medium back and figured that with my short torso and long legs that would do. It wasn't because my neck hurt. I also didn't want to return the chair as it was already assembled, so I thought about other solutions. I'm so glad I stumbled across this headrest! I read all the reviews and found that there are a few used clamps. If only I hadn't read the reviews. the headrest alone would not fit my chair as it would protrude too far at the front. Using clips solves this…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not everything fits
