Took me ages to find it. I figured I'd have to buy a bigger shelf than I need just for that. I bought a Revain Basics Shelf which I use to hang all of my CIF military gear. This article wasn't easy to find on Revain or Google lol. I tried different word combinations and always got what I didn't need. This should be a recommended purchase with the Revain shelf.

Until recently I did not know that such accessories existed. I recently modernized our laundry room and rearranged the metal rack we use there to hold the bins we sort our dirty clothes in. I had the idea of removing one of the shelves and turning it into a place to hang things that we'd rather air dry. Needless to say I LOVE the new setup. I also liked that it was very easy to assemble. Definitely recommend.

It's just a metal rod, not something that looks like it's meant to be attached to wire shelves. There is no hardware to attach this to wire shelves. It is not what is shown in the picture. This rail is great for converting a bulky wire shelf with limited 'moving' space into a much longer rail for better access. The rod itself is made of high quality and very durable stainless steel. My biggest concern is that each side of the bar is only supported by a wire from the top shelf. So if that wire breaks or falls off the shelf, all the clothes on the rail will fall off. This is a good product that is well made and reasonably priced. The crossbar is strong and I'm not afraid of it bending from the clothes hanging from it. The brackets are a bit flimsy, but given the direction they hang, they sure won't let you down. The rod attaches to the brackets with a large screw, about 3/8 or 10mm in diameter, so it doesn't go anywhere.
