Material seemed almost "painted" - thickly coated with dye - and very stiff. May have washed out but I didn't want to take the chance. The fit of the style is quite nice and flattering.

The violet is fantastic. I love it. What a pretty dress, paired with a Facinator hat in purple, also bought on revain. It makes it look very refined. It can also be worn casually as well.The only advice I might give is to order one size up. I'm 5"5, amd 139 pounds. I usually wear an XL, in the case of these dresses from revain? I have to buy XXL. That's been my experience anyway.I've bought many dresses from revain and that seems to be the standard for me anyway is to go one size up.

First, the positive. This is a comfortable dress and the medium fits like a glove (34d, 27 inch waist), and the blue color is very pretty. However, the high-V neckline sits awkwardly, and no amount of tucking and tugging will make it lay well. It's still pretty paired with a scarf and boots, but the cut of the neckline prevents me giving it five stars.

There isn't one thing about this dress that isn't flattering! It's a cottony-stretch material that isn't too thin or too thick. I'm curvy, and busty and the top of this dress really held them in quite nicely! Also, it's very forgiving in how much cleavage you'd like to show. I've worn black heeled boots and flat boots with this and it quite simply looks fabulous. This dress should be in every woman's closet. It's that great. Bought it in black, but al definitely considering other colors now!

The dress fit as expected and is made from nice quality comfortable fabric. I will need to wear a camisole under it since the neckline is a little low, but overall this is a great dress.

This dress was very inexpensive ($16), and for that alone it was worth it. It is made of a decently thick, stretchy cotton. The seams appear to be nicely finished, and the length hits just below the knee on me (5'6"). I would have ordered a small, but since they start at medium, that is what I ordered. My only complaint on this dress is that it doesn't have pockets. It's the perfect style to have pockets included. Otherwise, this dress is super cute, extremely comfortable, and works for just about any occasion. The dress fits okay. It's just that the waist seems a little high. My actual waist is a little below the fitted section. Otherwise it's fine.

For the price, I am not complaining at all! I was worried the fabric would be a dull cotton but it actually has a nice sheen to it. The fabric is stretchy as well. I am 5'2 and wear a sz L. I ordered L and it fits fine. It did have a petroleum smell to it so I had to wash it with vinegar twice in cold water but after that the smell was gone. I am pleased with the dress. It is flattering to those of us with less than perfect body shapes

This is simply a lovely dress. It drapes well. It is clingy enough to show your curves but loose enough to conceal your flaws. My only complaint is the color selection. The bright hues aren't for every skin tone or occasion. More browns or darker colors would have been appreciated. Flattering. I love the steel blue color, it's exactly as pictured. I'm 5'5" and 150 lbs and ordered the M. This is a work appropriate dress. The V neck is not plunging and does not require a cami. Hits me just above the knee. The material is light weight but doesn't show every body bump/bulge and it's not see-thru. I'm ordering it in another color.

Very comfortable, great to take on a trip as it can be packed in a suitcase (no garment bag needed) and any wrinkles hang out quickly. Can be dressed up or down depending on accessories.

I bought this in black. I’m really pleased with how this dress looks. It’s very slimming and looks great dressed up or down. It’s comfortable and the material good quality. My only complaint with this dress is that the seam on one sleeve was not finished. It’s an easy enough thing to fix, so I’ll be keeping it.

Soft material that flows gracefully with a slight flare that is very flattering. Doesn't gape at the neckline when bending over. It stays put so that there is no need for pins to keep from showing what you want to be covered. Love this dress. Would love to have in more colors.

I returned another dress, that was very similar to this one. I kept this one, because it fit me well. However, it wrinkles easily, so I don't wear it often at all. It's not expensive, and because it's black, it serves as a useful staple piece in my closet. It's a great dress to just grab when you didn't plan what to wear the night before, but you need to look like you haven't lost your mind when you got dressed. It falls right above my knees, & is comfortable all day.

I really wanted to like this dress.it was very nice. However, the Sizing Chart is NOT true to size. When I tried it on, I was basically swimming in it. The color was pretty accurate to the picture provided by mfr, and it felt nice and it was soft.just too big for me. I am 5'2" and about 120 lbs. Since I was not given the option to exchange the medium for the small, I have decided not to reorder to the correct size.

So I've bought a total of 4-5 of these dresses now: 3 short sleeved and 2 long sleeved ones. I work from home, and they are super comfy and cute and can be dressed up for work as well. I beg though, please don't look at how the dress is worn in the product photos (and unfortunately many of the customer photos). Please simply pull the front portion of the draping/wrap UNDER your breast to avoid looking weird.

Beautiful dress. Just too much fabric in the skirt. The skirt was too flared. It made me look like I was trying to hide a huge butt.

I used this dress for a Daphne Blake costume. I'm 5'4 and it fit slightly above my knee. A modest and flattering dress. The fabric is comfortable. Overall happy with my purchase. I'd purchase again for regular everyday wear.
