Louis Garneau Commuting Cycling Compatible Men's Shoes and Athletic Review

Good durable shoe that ended up having to be returned as the size is very small compared to the original. They get good reviews and come highly recommended, but I couldn't wear mine comfortably.

The shoes were small and I had to order the largest size. But I love these shoes. Paired with my pedals these shoes feel comfortable, look good and work great! You can't go wrong with this. I usually wear a size 11 1/2. I had to order size 48. So be aware that they run small.

This is the first pair of cycling shoes I've owned and I'm very happy with them. Be careful when sizing them. I read other reviews warning that they run small so I ordered half a size up from the chart. When I first put them on they felt tight and I even considered returning them. However, after about three sessions on the bike, I have to tighten the straps so that they don't get too big.

These cycling shoes were purchased as an all round shoe for indoor cycling training as well as road cycling. I love these shoes. Comfortable yet stiff enough to transfer power to the pedals. The recessed SPD boots also make walking easier. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I had to return the first Garneau pant I bought because they all seem to be half a size too small. So if you are a size 12, take a 12.5 (so 48 instead of 47).

My Adidas Landuna lasted 20 years. They seem a bit cheaply made. We will see. They are somewhat small, mostly narrow. I loosened the straps a bit but they are short and the velcro barely catches when loosened just enough to get the right width. Otherwise good shoes. Not as little as some reviews suggest. I normally wear a women's size 8 1/2 but I ordered this in a 40. Pretty tight size.

Love the shoes - great for spinning. However, the size is wide. I wear a US size 9.5 or EU size 42. However, in this shoe I needed a EU size 45, 3 sizes bigger than I usually wear. Also, the shoes are narrow which fits me as I have a narrow foot but might not fit someone with a wide foot. Please note that the shoes do not come with SPD or other spikes, which need to be purchased and installed on the shoes separately.

I've had a few of these already so I knew the quality was decent and that size 44 fit my 9-91 /2 feet I use them for road biking and love the convenience of the SPD for short (very short) rides. The outsole is quite stiff, although it doesn't belong in the road shoe category. They suit me for rides over 15-30 miles, but I'll probably need stiffer road shoes for longer rides. I also find €99 a bit high.

I have been using these shoes for road cycling for three months now. All in all this is a good sturdy shoe. I use SPD pedals and cleats because I ride them and they seem best for that. The footbed is solid and the power transfer to the crank is good even when out of the saddle. After reading other reviews before purchasing, the general consensus was to order half a size up as they run small. My only regret is that I didn't order them a full size up because they are short and tight. It amazes me
