Bought for my daughter who was transitioning from a Crosley laptop but wasn't ready for a high end system. This product is flawless. Good cartridge, affordable belt, balance/skate adjustments and it's LOUD. The speakers are solid and sound great. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality in this price range.

This player is very good, it combines old and new. You can play vinyl on it, but it also connects to Bluetooth so you can play music from your phone. You can even hook it up to a TV to play the sound through the TV (which I didn't as I have a different sound system for that). I really like this turntable. It's easy to set up, easy to use, and sounds great. I only had one starting problem and that was more of a problem for me than a problem with her. Right out of the box, you'll realize that installation will be easy. You connect the cables, put on the plastic cover and turn on the player. This player setup impressed me with a few features. When I first opened the box, I immediately noticed the metal arm, counterweight, and anti-skating knob. This is unlike most budget turntables! Another impressive feature was the included Audio-Technica AT3600L phonocassette, which costs about $25 alone. Most cheap turntables come with a very cheap budget cartridge.
