Excellent helmet, compact

Excellent helmet. It runs smaller than others, please measure your head as everyone is different. I wear medium (women). This medium sized helmet fits a little tighter than my other helmet but I feel a large would be too big for me. My husband usually wears a large size but he bought the size XL and was happy with it! You may be wrong about the larger size if your measurements are questionable.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Periodicity

The tinted visor cannot be extended or retracted. Feels cheaply made.

The tinted visor pulled out of the rails on one side and would not retract or extend. Each visor seemed to have lugs at the end that snap onto a rail that allows it to slide up and down. The visor tab on this particular helmet does not stay in place. This helmet didn't feel well made and felt a bit cheap at $160. replacement ordered. Just take a look.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Easily repairable

Poor ventilation but comfortable

Pros - Chin strap with ratchet, sun visor, comfortable (I wear a medium 22.5" head) Cons - Only 1 vent at mouth, others close when visor is closed , and it fogs up. It also seems a bit noisy to me when locking/unlocking the visor, but I've never had a full face helmet so that could be normal. a 1000 mile trip in a week so I can have a better view later.

Terrible Fit - Helmets

My helmet size is large and always has been. I bought this in bulk and it was so tight, especially around the cheek pads, it gave me a headache in less than 30 minutes. I've only worn the helmet at home, which I always do with a new helmet to test the fit. Luckily I was able to send it back and get a refund. After that I contacted the LS2 who said I should have broken it in but I can't ride with a helmet that gives me a headache that easily. Not recommended as the LS2 dimensions are clearly off

The best return for a beginner.

The price, comfort and looks of this helmet appealed to me. I was stranded and needed a helmet ASAP and didn't have time to go to the nearest motorcycle shop which took an hour just to look at the expensive helmets. This is a great entry-level helmet for a dual-sport or adventure bike. RevZilla is what I would recommend online if you want to upgrade later when you have more experience. But for beginners this helmet is perfect. Also a big fan of the quick release chin strap.

You need that helmet!

My full helmet for a long time. Overall I am very impressed with this LS2 helmet. I was on the border between Large and XL, went with XL, perfect fit. The cheek pads are certainly very good, but I expected that based on other reviews. I suppose they will loosen up a bit over time, although they don't fit, still great. When you have a clear visor upside down against the visor it really limits your vision, something new to me. I liked the ratchet strap, a few clicks and you're done. The internal…

Your brain is worth more than this helmet offers.

So I actually ordered 2 of them. A large which was too small despite using the size chart and then XL which fitted but had other issues. The design just wasn't what I was hoping for, it was "squeaky" for lack of a better description. The face shield could not be opened with one hand when closed, the flip-down visor got stuck halfway down and then additional screw force was required to bring it down. The cheek pads are held in place by small plastic tabs that came loose on one side when…
