LSE Lighting Replacement Treatment Services Review

When we installed it a few years ago the bulbs were $800 so when mine blew I didn't bother to replace them. When we started renovating the water system, I checked to see if the lightbulbs were affordable, so I decided to replace them. It's nice to have water that we know is safe again from microscopic creatures.

I am very disappointed with the lifespan of this UV lamp. Worked less than a month before blown. Competitor lamps that we used in our UV lamp lasted over a year and didn't cost much more. I currently have a backup of the same brand. I will update this review if it lasts as long as it should! Edit: The second bulb is still in use many months later. I hope the first one was just an accident. I will be buying my next replacement here and fingers crossed!

Replacement bulb works well and I have just ordered a second one as a spare. The product comes in a cardboard cylinder with a plastic stopper and no information, so I would recommend the following precautions. 1) wear surgical examination gloves when handling the lamp and clean it of styrofoam particles that may stick to the lamp and its pins (fingerprints significantly reduce lamp life) 2) disconnect the UV unit before installation Mains 3) Completely install lamp in housing, opaque plug-in…
