These bad guys are SUPER strong. Great material and beautiful look. I ended up going with Yellow Die springs for my plate springs as they have perfectly flat ends and are reasonably "bouncy". This is too strong for the build plate.

When I first had to disassemble my printer's extruder this spring, it flew out and was never seen again. I am very happy that they are available and they are actually better than what I had before. They feel a little stiffer and help grip the thread better.

Ordered them based on material - wanted something non-toxic to replace the non-detachable beads in heavy (used in size 6 and 8) earrings. It's nickel-plated steel. It worked perfectly! Heavy, well made, smooth, stiff enough to barely flex to snap into place. Don't cling to my hair, don't let go. I will not return to the captured pearls. I recommend it to anyone who is tired of chasing large beads around the room. Yes, the beads should not fall out. But they do. This? Not necessary.
