Excellent product! It filters very well and even a petter paired with a thread. It's difficult to clean, but that's because it's rough and sticks to dirt. Clean it once or twice and then it's time for a replacement. Thank you for the high-quality filter material!

This is amazing! The cheapest I can find while still getting quality foam. All three are slightly different ppm, blue seems roughest, then black, then green. The amazing material works with all aquarium filters and is perfect for the Fluval FX series!

I've seen so many videos on You Tube about bleeding (improving) canister filters. This prompted me to buy these pong sponges. Much cheaper to cut them up and put them in a tin yourself instead of buying OTHERS which are so expensive. It comes in three densities: natural medium and fine. For anyone who does it alone, you get the picture.

I don't understand the comments that blue and black foam are the same. They were noticeably different from what I received: the blue was of lower quality than the black, and the green was very good. Used one each plus a biofoam and polishing pad and filled the remaining top spots in the filter with the biomedium. My tank has NEVER looked cleaner. That's great.

All in all a great price for aquarium foam. At the same time, there is not much difference in the degree of roughness of the filters from coarse to medium to fine. As a result, I end up buying fine filter media from other suppliers and using them for coarse to medium filtration. It's still worth buying, though, spending a lot more money on "brand name" foam filters.
