Good filter at a great price

Excellent replacement filter. I use them on both the fountain I have for my dog's water bowl and the outdoor fountain around the pump to keep mess to a minimum. Good price for the money received. Good quality. I recommend them to anyone using this type of filter.

I could not fill the fountain to the MAX line without hair overflowing the foam pre-filter and clogging the pump inlet. I had to either keep the water level lower (about halfway between MIN and MAX) or cut the filters in half and stack them on top of each other (which I did). For the price, this is a viable option if you're willing to do the extra work. If they were a little higher I would give this product 5 stars.

Both this filter and the reusable activated carbon filter are replaced every week. $$$$ (I also recommend a reusable charcoal filter, which you…
