My wife's Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 worked wonders

My wife's automatic transmission in her FJ62 was having problems causing nightmares with terrible repair bills. After slowly and methodically flushing Rodney Flush with the new Red Line Auto Trans Fluid, I added about 1 1/2 bottles of this fluid and the automatic transmission works just like it did when we rolled the truck out of the dealer showroom in 1989. recommended

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Expensive

This helped the Dodge Dakota solve random shifting issues.

Helped solve the problem with shifting gears in Dodge Dakota. He pulled out the pan and filter and added 4 liters of fresh liquid there. Only driven 8000km since the last filter fluid change! The truck had weird issues shifting gears at random times, maybe it was temperature related, but the truck doesn't do a lot of long trips so it wasn't because it was too hot. Whatever the problem, I think this was the solution. I've used a different lube in other cars with good results, so it's worth a try

Is it magic in a bottle?

I've been trying for a long time with a full drain and fill on a 2007 Honda Odyssey. I had such a problem - switching from the first to the second on cold. I drained and refilled the original fluid and then added Lubegard - the results weren't immediately obvious, it took about 5,000 miles for the fluid to run through the system and the gear shifting was much better. This was the last thing to try before installing a used gearbox on a car. So I tried this friction modifier and it helped

Fixed my lag shift.

Truck shift problem when cold only. The previous owner did not change the fluid. So I decided to change the fluid. It helped a little, but there was still a switching lag. I have used this product in the past and have never been disappointed. As soon as I filled it up and took a test drive, I immediately felt the difference. This product will definitely clean and break down any deposits that have built up on the transmission valve body/shift solenoid. Just make sure you choose the right…

Recommended for Mercedes Trans 722.9 to extend converter clutch life!

Mercedes Benz 722.9 Torque converter clutch packs wear out long before the rest of the transmission wears out. Adding a bottle of this special HFM additive will help the converter last longer. If you sometimes feel when driving an MB with this transmission that there is no power when accelerating and you shift to N and back to D and all the power comes back, you may have a worn torque converter that is slowly failing. Add 2 bottles of this oil to your transmission and it can fix the problem…

Odyssey 2003 Amsoil Multi Vehicle Series ATF Grease Black

Now shifts pretty well, here's the story for 2nd generation Odyssey people: I just understood that this van comes from a family friend, 177,000 km, overhauled transmission adjusted to 105,000. The fluid was ATF-Z1 which was changed to 145K at a Honda dealer with an unspecified fluid. It shifted very well, but I was concerned about the fluid it contained and the durability of the gearbox. I have replaced the fluid (drain and fill) with Amsoil 2x branded ATF on several vehicles and I can find…

quality goods! best in oils and liquids

I didn't think it would help my car much but I was wrong! It didn't fix the problem with my trance, but it improved it by helping me narrow down the list of things that could be wrong with my trance. My '98 Civic had trouble shifting from first to second and shook as it went from 20 to 50 mph. Both problems decreased immediately thereafter, leading me to believe that I had probably burned my transmission oil and painted the inside of my gearbox when my car recently overheated (just before the…
