Okay, that's pretty damn handy for shrimp night, but I have a feeling the handles are left-handed. When held by a "right handed" the blades will curve down and to the side, which is the opposite of what you want. That being said, I flipped them and used them anyway, it was just awkward.

Well made crab leg scissors etc. Keep one at home and one in the glove box so if you ever get to the crab buffet or similar seafood you can go through the process of making sweet meat to get! But beware, the management will not smile at you.

Recently purchased. (Didn't want to buy really expensive ones.) Worked great on crab. I have arthritis in my hands but they easily cut through my legs and body. The blades were thin, allowing them to slide easily over the legs. Washed well in the dishwasher. Wanted some more pairs for friends, too bad they are not available at the moment. Hope they come back! They may not be beautiful, but they are very functional.

If you are looking for such curved scissors you can easily find 2 versions online that look very similar but are not the same. This one is much stronger than the "other" version. Another version bends when cutting something hard - not good. The blades on this one are much thicker (but not that they're indestructible). If you look closely at the handle of the scissors, you can tell this version apart from this one.
