I can't recommend it enough!

I LOVE this device. I was a little apprehensive before purchasing as this is a new product and there aren't many reviews. It's very quiet and the white noise it REALLY makes is very soothing. The cooling area should be around 400 square feet, but I can feel the difference in other parts of my home. WITHOUT the help of additional, strategically placed fans. I am pleased. Definitely money well spent.

Keep looking, it's not.

The device worked great for the first 2-3 days, the next few days fine and after 2 weeks it was just going crazy! I woke up in the middle of the night to an intermittent squeak. Somehow the device changed modes without my help OR the remote control! I had to unplug it for about 15 minutes before it finally worked properly. The next night it happened again, so I sent that prankster back!

Received at the peak of the heat, not expecting much but very satisfied!

Was very nervous about finding something on budget during our first major heatwave of the season. It made me feel a lot better than buying a used device, but I wasn't expecting something that overwhelming. The interface is very user-friendly, the noise isn't whisper or soft but completely manageable, and the modes are well organized. It has a powerful fan set and has been used in some of the main large areas of the house and is still very efficient. 5 stars doesn't seem enough!

Great deal - heating, cooling and air quality

It does what it says in the description. It cools exactly as much as it is designed. It's really convenient and easy to set up. However, I believe you will need tape to hold the area where the vent tube connects to its outer outlet or slot as it has a high tendency to slip out of the hole. This exhaust air is very hot and MUST be discharged to the outside! But it cools the room it's reading very well and is very easy to use and put into positions, just like good reels. I haven't had any…

It keeps the room cool

I got this because my portable air conditioner broke the day before Seattle's record highs of 100 degrees. Seattle has about 33% air conditioning coverage because it didn't need it in the past, but with climate change, we need it more and more often. This little device was relatively inexpensive and appeared earlier than any other manufacturer. As a result, my shared living space (great room layout that combines the kitchen, living room and dining room) remains livable. Don't misunderstand that
