EDIT: after checking it lasted a little longer, but then everything stopped flickering and had to be replaced. - one died after flickering, hate that they take 2 plugs (bought a double USB plug to solve this) and seem to get hotter than they should. otherwise 3 of them still work

I don't usually look when I'm typing, but often I have to press the F keys and see if it's F5 or F6 etc. This light illuminates my keyboard well and solves this problem. I installed it under the ledge above the keyboard and it sits there nicely. Only knocked over twice in the last 6 months and the magnetic mount is very handy.

I thought this product could be charged and then used because it was presented that way, ie. Closets, under a closet, etc. You really can't use it unless it's plugged in. So without an available USB charger within range, this light will not work. If so, it would be five stars because it has a good range of brightness and intensity.

I ordered 2. Love them, dimmable and different lighting options. However, less than a year later, one of them stopped working. It turns on, toggles modes and everything, but is so dim it doesn't illuminate anything. The other is fine. I am both live and very disappointed. Is there a reason for that? They are both used at the same rate in the same area.

and I like the light output it gives, it sits under a shelf on a workbench in my electronics lab and illuminates what I'm working on very well, the reason for the low star rating is that once switched on it produces so much RF signal that it completely destroys the reception of a table top stereo receiver. Can't say I've ever seen this in LEDs, but for most applications I think it's a great light.
